A long NH44 run south to the Jogulamba temple at Alampur, then west to the fort town of Gadwal and the Jurala dam on the Krishna. A full weekend circuit through old Deccan heritage.

Good to know
- Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road is closed to two-wheelers, so leave the city on the regular highways, not the ORR.

- Alampur and Gadwal are close enough to cover in one day, but allow an overnight to get to Jurala comfortably.
